What We Are Seeking

As a data science intern, your role will involve joining our data team to engage in analysis, dashboard setup, and other data engineering projects. This internship opportunity, based in Montreal QC, requires 37.5 hours of work per week for a duration of 4 months starting in September 2024.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the data team to support daily operations;
  • Work closely with the development team on data collection and quality validation;
  • Utilize statistical methods to analyze A/B test data and other datasets, producing valuable business reports;
  • Create dashboards, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and deliver insightful reports to aid decision-making processes;
  • Develop data pipeline components and ETLs;
  • Coordinate with the User Acquisition, Product, CRM, and Content teams to assess the performance of new features and strategies;

Requirements

  • Solid background in mathematics or statistics;
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation;
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as MixPanel, Amplitude, etc. is advantageous;
  • Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery is a bonus) and either Python or R;
