Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Virtual Hallway Full time

Community Growth Manager
We envision a world where no one must wait unnecessarily to access healthcare. We are actively seeking a
Community Growth Manager to join our mission.

Who we are:

Virtual Hallway is a thriving online community of clinicians that engage with each other for advice on patient cases and to stay up to date with medical knowledge through our continuing education program.

As we scale and grow, it is critical that the experience on our platform continues to be attuned to the needs of our members.

Who we are looking for:

This position requires an individual with excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills, who can think outside the box, who is not afraid to test and be pushed out of their comfort zone, who is passionate about healthcare, and creating wonderful experiences for people who use the platform.

While idea generation is important to this role, the ability to execute from ideation all the way through to implementation and review, is a bigger priority.

You will have a demonstrated history of championing complex projects and marketing campaigns independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase the size and engagement of our clinician user base
  • Develop a worldclass medical education program in collaboration with the team
  • Create and manage outbound marketing, communications and stakeholder relations
  • Engage with our community all the way from when an individual first hears of Virtual Hallway right through the journey until they become an engaged champion user
  • Take the lead as necessary on unanticipated initiatives
  • Teamability: Function as part of a team; committed to success of the whole
  • Curiosity: Desire to explore the unknown and question the status quo
  • Emotional strength: positive attitude, empathy, and selfcontrol, especially in fastpaced environments
  • Creativity: Ability to find new and outsidethebox solutions
  • Humility: Selfconfidence while understanding that there is room for improvement and that other's experience and knowledge are valuable
  • Resiliency: Persevere in the face of challenge and bounce back from setbacks
  • Integrity: Do what is right
  • Adaptability: Adjust according to the situation, learn new things, innovate, and try new methods
  • Drive: Need for achievement and selfimprovement

Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with the healthcare profession
  • Undergraduate degree, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar role

What We Offer

  • Opportunity for career development and mentorship within the role
  • Worklife balance with paid holidays and adaptable working schedules
  • Educational events and training
  • Quarterly team events
  • Competitive salary package with opportunity for stock options
This position is based out of our Halifax office working with our highly skilled, motivated, and collaborative team.

Virtual Hallway is committed to creating an inclusive environment and building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.

We value diversity and recognize that experience comes in many forms and skills are often transferable. If you feel passionate about the work we do and believe that you have the skills to contribute and thrive in this role,
