Mill Operator

We are a farm and we mill all of our feed for our birds.

This position is for someone to be in the mill all day everyday keeping the feed running as well as running our soybean Extruder as it needs to be watched while its running.


Running the mill entails:

  • Filling our ingredient bins with 25KG bags (heavy lifting)
  • Operating a forklift (Will be taught)
  • Keeping the mill clean of garbage and sweeping
  • Collecting feed samples and labeling them
  • And ensuring that feed gets sent to the correct barn
Ordering feed is done by myself and will not be a task for you to worry about.

Extruder entails:

  • Attention to detail
  • Handling hot metal at the end of the day (Gloves Provided)
  • Using an Excel Spreadsheet to keep track of production (Will be taught)
Starting at $16 per hour but room to move up of course if job is done well
