**Description: - Permanent Full Time- We are hiring for a Claims Examiner in St. John's, Newfoundland.- What you will do:

  • Reviewing, investigating, and adjudicating Canadian Health and Dental claims in accordance with Group policy contracts
  • Conducting telephone calls to health and dental service providers for incomplete claims information
  • Making accurate payment decisions according to adjudication guidelines
  • Living our values of Customer View; Integrity; Partnership; and Communities
  • What you will bring:
  • Able to handle large volumes of work with a high level of accuracy and ensure performance targets are met. (Performance targets will be outlined in your goals on People Zone)
  • Welldeveloped analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Reliable team member with good attendance
  • Customer Service Focused

  • The base salary for this position is between
    $37,300*:
  • $50,400** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
