The company identifies five core operating offerings to its clients including Residential High Rise, Commercial, Architectural, Industrial and Institutional concrete and Parking Structures.


The company operates as a Canadian private partnership with Company President Steve Beaton and Chief Operating Office Brad Allan currently responsible for all business activities.

Their hands-on-approach has allowed the company to steadily grow and established a reputation in the industry as an innovative company dedicated to superior craftsmanship with a commitment to time management and financial sustainability.


The company has approximately 120 staff members and the executive team manages a significant labour force including the use of up to 400 sub-contractors to fulfill project work.

Historically the company has done work across Canada but its primary market is the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

Site Supervisor Profile


The Site Supervisor is responsible for successfully meeting all project requirements as per plans, budgets timelines and specifications to ensure the quality of all work performed on site meets or exceeds client expectations.


Site Supervisors will monitor and report on all daily activities onsite to their Project Managers to ensure the progress of assigned projects on their sites and stay compliant to expected project costs.

Site Supervisors will promote and ensure compliance with safety regulations on their sites to ensure standards for safe working conditions are observed

Site Supervisors for Syber Concrete Forming Ltd. report directly to a Project Manager regarding assigned projects.

This role will:

  • Provide direct project oversight with the support and leadership of the Project Manager for assigned projects
  • Coordinate and supervise daily project activities of assigned staff and subcontractors
  • Track material and manpower hours usage to stay complaint to identified budgeted goals
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site stakeholders
  • Supervising, coordinating and scheduling the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.
  • Ensure the health and safety of all workers under your supervision.

Site Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

The Site Supervisor is responsible to:
Project Oversight

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing a flow chart that includes task timelines to meet project completion date
  • Assist in writing and reviewing scopes of work to ensure accuracy of work as well as labour and materials required are identified for completing the job
  • Develop a detailed materials list for assigned projects as per completed scope of work and approved budget
  • Identify risks and adjust and implement plans accordingly
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
  • Report to Project Manager on project details and progress toward milestones
  • Support in the training and general management of all project resources with the support of the Director of Operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Supervision

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Manage and monitor performance of subcontractors and staff
  • Allocate and coordinate resources, materials, subcontractors, and other staff
  • Perform site scheduling, logistics, and planning
  • Ensure the quality of all work performed on site
  • Perform troubleshooting and communicate any escalating issues to the Project Manager
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information
  • Sign off on rolling progress expense reports to stay compliant with budgets
  • Prepare work progress reports for their Project Manager
Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and site personnel
  • Maintain good relationship with clients and applicable external stakeholders
Health and Safety

  • Maintain and a uphold a safe and healthy work environment through enforcement of safety stand
