Role: MERN Stack Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Experience: 10+ Years

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Collaborate with front-end and UX/UI design teams to create responsive interfaces.
  • Architect and build efficient server-side components.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for front-end support.
  • Design and manage MongoDB database schemas and data access layers.
  • Implement user authentication and authorization systems following security protocols.
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Write clean and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end.
  • Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on latest backend technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer with backend focus.
  • Frontend experience- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Micro frontend design.
  • Backend experience- Solid JavaScript, Typescript, and knowledge of Microservices design.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Experience- Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Tech Delivery Experience- Strong CI/CD pipelines experience and familiarity with Jira.
  • Tools/Technologies Used- Familiarity with Kafka and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Expertise in server-side development with related backend technologies.
  • Understanding of MongoDB and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of RESTful web services, authentication, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
