Effective April 1, 2024 the salary range for this position is $76,231.00 to $109,842.00 per year in compliance with AMAPCEO collective agreement provisions. The new rates, effective retroactive to April 1, 2024, were recently confirmed and dates for implementation of the new salary rates are still to be determined.

What can I expect to do in this role?You will:
• Contribute to concurrent projects to identify business activity, business modeling, conduct program evaluation, analyze new business development and solutions
• Manage the analysis and assessment of projects, trends and directions that could impact or revise policies and regulations
• Lead and oversee the development of business cases, business analysis collateral, cost-benefit feasibility analysis, briefing materials and I&IT approvals process materials
• Provide strategic oversight for integration of projects and plans with corporate and government initiatives
• Provide project leadership to project teams, external service providers and contractors through all phases of the project
• Participates in the development of procurement contracts and related documents for a variety of consulting services needed to support and implement projects
How do I qualify?Business Analysis and Change Management Knowledge:
• You have knowledge of business process reengineering
• You have knowledge of business analysis practices and frameworks
• You have knowledge of policy development and research methodologies, tools, planning and program evaluation techniques to lead and manage the review and evaluation of the impacts of business transformation projects on existing policies
• You have knowledge of change management techniques to ensure all project and/or business processes and impacts are identified, planned, coordinated and implemented efficiently.
• You can produce and maintain effective project and process supports to support change management activities.
• You have change management skills to proactively and strategically manage the human factors associated with change.
• You can provide advice on operational initiatives for change management and business analysis processes and activities
Project Management Skills:
• You have knowledge of industry standard project methodologies
• You have knowledge of project management standards, tools, techniques and methodologies
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
• You possess effective consultation, interpersonal, networking and stakeholder management skills to develop partnerships, engage stakeholders in consultation activities and develop effective linkages with Ministry partners/other jurisdictions.
• You have influencing, negotiation and consensus building skills to work with subject matter experts to ensure business outcomes, , resolve complex issues and reconcile different viewpoints.
• You have written and oral communication skills to prepare and present reports, business cases and business processes and models.
• You have communication, consultation, and mediation skills to elicit cooperation in order to document and reengineer business processes and models in order to realize efficiencies and opportunities for optimization
• You have presentation, persuasion, and advisory skills
Research, Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:
• You can identify and contribute to the assessment complex issues and trends, and contribute to developing action plans
• You can contribute to risk assessment/mitigation and develop recommendations to resolve problems
• You have planning and organizational skills to contribute to the planning and delivery of concurrent projects, coordinate and expedite progress to deliver projects on time
• You can contribute to the design and lead multiple projects to develop best practice program design solutions that will address objectives or identify issues
• You can assess and interpret multiple functions and processes, conduct in-depth analysis, determine priorities, plan and organize work
• You can lead options analysis, cost-benefit and risk assessment analysis and recommend actions plans to mitigate risks
Leadership Skills:
• You have leadership skills to coordinate the work of program/project staff, subject matter experts and external consultants
Computer Skills:
• You are proficient in computer operations and software applications to prepare reports and other materials and track and monitor project progress such as Visio, MS project, Adobe Acrobat DC
