RV Detail Lead. This is a Full-Time, Seasonal position at our Leduc Dealership in Alberta.

The Detail Lead will oversee, guide, and inspire a team of up to 8 RV detailers during peak times and establish an environment of continuous learning guided by our company's values.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is the key individual in our detail team ensuring that the RVs are prepared to the highest standards for our customers.

Managing a team of 4 to 8 detailers, this hands-on role involves washing, cleaning, polishing, and maintaining car interiors and exteriors to keep them clean and attractive for customers.

Additionally, this role will assist with various tasks at the dealership such as moving vehicles, helping colleagues, and participating in lot cleaning.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Lead a Team of 36 RV detailers
  • Work alongside the team to clean and detail inside and outside of RVs being sold
  • Foster a learning environment within the detail department based on our core values
  • Develop and implement efficient schedules to meet business needs
  • Coordinate work schedules based on customer pickups and inventory requirements
  • Maintain effective communication with the Sales team regarding RV status
  • Ensure proper use of cleaning products and equipment by all detailers
  • Train new staff in RV detailing activities
  • Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory and orders of cleaning chemicals
  • Perform other assigned duties
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in Supervision and/or Housekeeping/Detailing
  • Class 5 Driver's License and Clean Abstract
  • Ability to supervise and handle various situations under pressure
  • Capacity to motivate and coach
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and dedicated to company values
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capability to work in physically demanding environments
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Versatility in various work environments
  • Proficiency in customer relations
  • Housekeeping and Automotive detail experience is a plus
