To complement your strong visual eye, you have a background in video production and photography with a portfolio that demonstrates the breadth of your work.

Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial self-starters and natural collaborators with 3-5 years of experience ideating, planning, capturing, and editing social media-optimized video and photo content across a variety of digital formats.

Whether you're combing through footage and editing a video on Premiere Pro or capturing and editing content on-location with an iPhone and CapCut, you're comfortable in both nimble and more elaborate shooting environments, depending on client needs.

We're looking for someone who truly thrives in dynamic settings – whether at events, activations, or video shoots – where you get to work with people to extract the most compelling content from each interaction.

You also have a genuine interest in buildings, streetscapes, green spaces and get excited about the future of cities.

Please provide a link to your content portfolio in your resumé.Role and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with our Accounts team to create imaginative and effective video and photo content to be published across client social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTubeStoryboard, shoot, edit, and publish content you've captured during site visits, client events, and activationsBuild, execute, and continuously manage social media campaigns for client channels, with a focus on video and still photography content — graphic design abilities are a plusProactively identify new trends and opportunities to elevate content and frequently share them with the broader teamBring big creative ideas to the table that advance our clients' business objectives while leveraging your expertise around social platforms and content creationManage content review, approvals, and scheduling with clients in collaboration with our Accounts teamChampion agency's goals and values, fostering culture and team dynamicsSkills and QualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a multi-channel content creation roleExperience ideating, planning, and shooting live events, activations and site visits to create dynamic visual contentExperience with a range of video production and photography equipment — you're equally comfortable capturing what you need with an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a lav mic as you are with a more sophisticated setupStrong video post-production skills with experience using motion & video editing applications including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and CapCutGraphic design skills and experience using Adobe Illustrator and Canva considered an assetTangible experience developing and executing social media content campaigns with a strong visual componentDeep understanding of content creation and community management best practices across all major social platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTubeStrong knowledge of social media and digital content trends with a willingness to experiment with emerging platforms and formatsFamiliarity with or strong desire to learn Real Estate Development, Design and Architecture industriesLife at kg&aOur team works in a newly designed office space on Bay Street steps from Union Station.
