Hourly wage from $17.00 to $20.00 (including tips)

BLFC is positioned for leadership in Canada's food and beverage landscape. Our current brand portfolio includes
Village Juicery, Dark Horse Espresso, Detour Coffee, Dear Grain Bakery, and Tori's Bakeshop.

Big League Food Company is hiring for a
Team Lead to join our
Village Juicery Retail Store.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing

  • Supporting community engagement initiatives (e.g. community juice, street festivals)
Staff Leadership

  • Supporting
    staff hiring process with the Manager
  • Assist in training and onboarding new hires
  • Contribute to semiannual staff reviews
  • Coach staff as needed on operational standards
Operations

  • Operate as the
    point of contact for store operations
- (i.e. order issues, schedule changes, minor customer issues, monitoring Slack)

  • Address urgent operational issues and escalate as needed
  • Place Daily Orders and monitor pars
  • Conduct Retail Goods and Packaging Inventory and place weekly orders
  • Daily
    monitoring of instore environment
- (ensure daily checklists are complete and store environment is 100% top-notch)

  • Support new products, program and policy launches
Administration

  • Maintains cash float
    Cover managerial duties on manager's time off (vacation, days off, etc.)

Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience as a team lead
    is required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
