Operator

Ville d'Andenne is a leading provider of manufacturing support services to the global automotive industry. Ville d'Andenne provides press brakes, wheel locks, and other press brake equipment to its customers.

Position Summary:

The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a production line. This position provides technical support to ensure production goals are met through quality system actions.

This position provides assistance in areas related to production operations, including:

  • Process operating instructions to equipment

Process operating documentationQuality control actions for equipmentCleaning and sanitizing of equipmentInventory of parts for equipmentOperation of a wheel lock systemSafe operation of a press brake systemAssist in developing and maintaining a high quality manufacturing environmentRequirements:

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for several hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push pull and lift up to 50 lbs. at one time.
  • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to follow all personal protective gear and safety procedures.
  • Must have good physical mobility and be able to move throughout the day.

Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Repentigny, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
