What you will do:

Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential targets, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
  • Participate in negotiations and manage the deal process from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to facilitate successful integration of acquired entities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including investment banks, advisors, and potential partners.
Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive business growth and complement the company's offerings.
  • Evaluate potential partnership opportunities, conduct negotiations, and oversee contract negotiations and execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment of partnership strategies.
Competitive Intelligence

  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisionmaking.
  • Monitor competitors' activities, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to the executive team and board of directors on industry trends, competitive positioning, and potential risks.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. An MBA, a CFA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in a strategic role, preferably in a highgrowth ecommerce or technology company.
  • Background in mergers and acquisitions, including deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration.
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business opportunities and assess risks.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and lead crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce industry dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and delivering results in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
