About the Opportunity

Health Care Social Workers play a crucial role in supporting clients and families to enhance their well-being and health. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, therapy, counseling, resource guidance, and care planning. As a Social Worker, you will advocate, educate, and collaborate within the community and institution, working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements for this role include a Master's degree in Social Work, current registration, and 2 years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have advanced psychotherapy skills, knowledge of mental health assessments, and strong communication abilities. Familiarity with community resources, fluency in French, and effective time management are advantageous.

About You

To be considered, you must have:

  • Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized university
  • Current registration with the NSCSW
  • 2 years related clinical experience required

Hours
  • Permanent Part Time; 50% FTE; 37.5 Hours Bi-Weekly
Compensation and Incentives

$49.05 Hourly
Developmental (less than 2 years experience) - $42.01

Eligible candidates may receive health, dental, travel, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan for Permanent and Long Assignments.
