Overview:


As a Project Coordinator reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Marketing team with a focus on project management.

Your responsibilities will include enhancing operational efficiencies, coordinating schedules, managing logistics, and optimizing marketing operations. Your contribution will be instrumental in streamlining departmental processes and improving cross-functional workflows.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in scheduling commercials, broadcast reads, and radio activities to support the Blue Jays brand and campaign objectives.
  • Support the creative project management process, including reviewing incoming creative requests, compiling complete files, and coordinating drafts.
  • Contribute to key marketing operations projects, such as event logistics, budget tracking, and maintaining a 12month calendar.
  • Coordinate and manage ballpark branding and installations.
  • Provide support in project management administration for various marketing initiatives.


To excel in this position, you should possess exceptional organizational skills, the ability to break down complex problems, and a talent for synthesizing tasks into functional schedules.

Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities are essential. You should also have experience in improving operational efficiencies and identifying process gaps. Flexibility, adaptability, and a hands-on approach are crucial, given the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly maintaining work back schedules for departmental and crossfunctional projects.
  • Reviewing creative requests and first drafts of creative materials for completeness.
  • Coordinating scheduling for marketing commercials, broadcast reads, and radio activities.
  • Assisting in the maintenance and migration to a new project management platform.
  • Coordinating and managing the printing process for creative materials, collaborating with internal and external printers to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Overseeing the installation of print projects in the ballpark.
  • Optimizing marketing files, including naming conventions, file structure, and organization.
  • Logging and storing completed items in collaboration with partners.
  • Assisting in ongoing budget tracking tasks.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of a 12month calendar.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 23 years of experience in marketing, project management, operations, or a related field within a highprofile organization.
  • Deep understanding of work back scheduling and project management logistics.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supporting complex scheduling projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for broader understanding.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • The ability to identify process gaps and recommend effective solutions.
  • A selfstarter mentality, enabling you to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously under pressure.
  • A track record of building positive and productive relationships with internal crossfunctional teams and external agency/vendor partners.
  • Comfort working in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and project management tools.
  • Proficiency in Office 36
  • Sports industry or media agency experience is an asset.
  • Project management experience is an asset.
