About the Position
ATS Traffic is currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our Corporate Office in Edmonton, Alberta.

This position will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure standards are in accordance with our Company Core Values.
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies that improve ontime deliveries, use technology to enhance visibility and inventory tracking, increase speedtodelivery with ondemand fulfillment and satisfies customer demand with agile inventory strategies.
  • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy including but not limited to process improvements, identification, qualification, and selection of vendors for the procurement of equipment, products, services and supplier management.
  • Lead the supply chain team and create and measure team goals to improve the effectiveness of the team.
  • Establish inventory best practices that support financial and operational goals.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ERP enhancements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for manufacturing facility and North American branch network.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ERP enabled processes.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, or major in related curriculum.
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information and processes.
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation an asset.
  • Professional communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
years MS Great Plains or equivalent experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or equivalent is an asset.
  • Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal level.
  • 5 to 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on Procurement and Logistics in a manufacturing and distribution industry.
  • Experience with multiproduct buying across multiple vendors and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
