We are a small animal hospital, with deep roots in the community, located in the heart of Invermere, BC.

Our patients are our top priority, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to both them and their owners by building relationships and providing the best possible options for their pets.

We are fortunate to meet many of our patients as puppies and kittens and care for them throughout their life's journey.

Our clinic is well-equipped with 2 exam rooms, a comfort room, surgical suite, x-ray, IDEXX lab, dental equipment, and portable ultrasound.

Our doctors have a passion for all types of surgery, as well as dentistry and preventative care. We even have a wildlife permit that adds a little fun and variety.

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
  • Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makes certain all necessary logs are kept uptodate through established protocols.
  • Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Presents a positive image of the hospital to the professional community and to the public.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Canada.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
