What you'll do
Perform additional procedures for the majority of time; perform routine procedures in various sections of the laboratory as required, following established departmental procedures. Collect specimens from inpatients and outpatients as required. Perform maintenance on related equipment and reports equipment malfunctions to the Section Head. Perform all clerical and written tasks associated with additional and routine procedures, and compile statistics as required. Ensure that quality control standards are met and report problems to the Section Head as they occur. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. Assist with orientation of new staff. Perform other related duties as assigned.What you bring
Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized school of Medical Technology, plus a minimum of one years' recent, related experience. Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) Certified.You will also have

Ability to organize workload assignments and set priorities. Ability to develop and present educational material. Ability to operate related equipment. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
