Product Manager

REPORTS TO:
Director of Clinical Applications

We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for the success of our
PET-based imaging solutions product line. You will be responsible for managing the product's lifecycle from requirements development to product launch. You will be responsible for bringing our company's vision and strategy to life. As the Product


As Product Manager, you are the product specialist who contributes to the alignment of product strategy, market need, and technical execution of product development to enable sales success.

You will work closely with the R&D team as a liaison between the outbound marketing and technical teams to facilitate synergies to refine products that resonate with customers and empower our sales channels to win.

Backed up with market evidence, you know our competitors like the "back of your hand", which plays a key role in informing product roadmapping and product positioning.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

As part of the Product Management team, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Development and maintenance of the Product Plan o Final signoff for ship to customer decisions
  • Development and maintenance of key technology vendor relationships
  • Development and maintenance of the IP strategy and plan
  • Lead the product development team in developing the product technology road map Work with a crossfunctional team to determine the product's business model
  • Listen to and understand Clinical Applications feedback, write product requirements and respond to product suggestions o Working with the Clinical Applications team to translate client/business needs into product features
  • Working with crossfunctional R&D teams to outline design, systems, and software specifications based on product requirements
  • Performing comprehensive product risk assessment during product development; revisit/iterate as appropriate
  • Acting as a liaison between R&D and Operations teams and Product
Management team to assess/translate changes proposed by both parties towards, ensuring client needs are met

  • Developing comprehensive product data sheets and participating in technical client meetings
  • Attending meetings and conferences to lead about the latest advances in relevant techniques/technologies/processes/features
  • Assess these advances in the context of the product, and make recommendations for feature improvement/modifications as necessary
  • Project monitoring duties, including product cost (e.g., bill of materials) and scheduling control to ensure timely delivery; working with R&D to iterate product scope if necessary
  • Working with Director of Product Management to assess the feasibility and business value of new product introduction
  • Codeveloping a business case for new products
  • Developing technical aspects of the product roadmap
  • Writing technical white/grey papers, blog posts and webinars as appropriate
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • STEM based frame of mind with data driven bias
  • Clear written and oral communication skills who engages in conversation
  • A conscientious and detailsoriented individual
  • Developed time management and personal organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in a crosscultural environment
  • Must be comfortable working in hybrid environment (i.e., inperson and virtual meetings)
  • Enjoys a fastpaced environment
  • Must be selfmotivated
  • Able to effectively monitor multiple projects at once

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • University graduate degree in Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, Medical Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hightech sector
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a product manager
  • Experience working in a research environment (e.g., presenting at conferences)
  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, customers and partners
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

OPTIONAL:

  • MBA
  • Experience working with teams across multiple time zones

  • Familiarity with project management processes
  • Exposure to the development of medical products intended for use in the clinical sector, as outlined by the requirement of regulatory bodies including the FDA,
