Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day

Wage: $44.87 per hour (Journeyman Rate) as per collective agreement

Travel Available if Applicable

  • Have good working knowledge of construction practices and operation of tools to work safely and efficiently following directions from Supervisor
  • Selecting materials, planning sequences & methods of work, measuring and marking materials
  • Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment onsite
  • Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding
  • Erecting, modifying, and dismantlement of scaffold
  • Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structure
  • Laying decks for workers to walkways
  • Fixing guard rails and safety netting
  • Calculating weight of materials to ensure proper equipment is used.
  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively with other trades
  • Experience with installation of anchor bolts and embed plates
  • Checking completed units to be sure they are level, square, and installed in correct location
  • Considerable knowledge of the standard practices, methods, materials, and tools of the scaffolding trade

Experience Requirements:

  • Valid SAIA or Alberta Carpenter's Scaffolder trade level certificate
  • Experience with industrial construction
  • CSTS09 or CSTS 20


 WHMIS 201
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials, and various other specifications
