Summary:

Reporting to the Foreman, the Crusher Operator is responsible for operating the rock crusher.

Job Duties Responsibilities:

• Operate a rock crusher and tower operations
• Operate offroad haulers in pit, quarry and construction atmospheres
• Operate a Loader and other equipment
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and check equipment daily
• Keep equipment clean
• Report any accidents, damage, or defects immediately and work in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and yard
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of crusher operator or gravel pit experience
• Must have a valid driver's license, Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset
• Experience with heavy equipment is an asset
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions (hot, humid, rain, snow, winter conditions)
• Physically capable of performing the duties of the position; standing, sitting, lifting, etc. for long periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Safetyfirst attitude
• Provide: must have hard hat, high visibility vest, CSA approved steeltoed safety boots/shoes

$20.00-$26.00 per hour
