The Steno II provides

administration support to the Operations department. Duties include scheduling,

preparing interview packages, preparing reports and meeting minutes, assisting

in the tracking of staff movement, arranging for pest control services, processing

of purchase orders, invoicing, monitoring work orders in DirectLine, purchase

card reconciliation and record keeping for the department.

Qualifications:

Required:
Secondary School Diploma. Advanced skills in

interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Excellent organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills. Ability to

maintain confidentiality and focus on attention to detail.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Simcoe County

District School Board Policies, Administrative Procedures Memoranda, and

Numbered Memoranda. Knowledge of board approved software, e.g., DirectLine, JD

Edwards, Easy Connect, IPPS, purchasing card. Knowledge of basic accounting.

Previous experience working in an educational environment.
