Mushroom Production and Distribution Associate

We are a renowned mushroom grower and food distribution company serving high end restaurants in Montreal.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and physically strong individual to join our team as a full-time mushroom production and distribution associate.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform mushroom cultivation tasks, including fertilizing, harvesting, weighing, and monitoring growth conditions.
  • Receive incoming products, inspect quality, and package them for delivery to restaurants.
  • Assist delivery drivers in loading trucks with orders for timely delivery within the city.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production space and mushroom grow room.
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and communicate stock levels to the operations manager.
  • Collaborate with the team through Slack and text messages to ensure efficient communication and coordination.
  • Drive to and from the mushroom farm located in Longueuil using your own car (valid driving license required).

Requirements:

  • Fulltime availability during weekdays for consistent and reliable support.
  • Physical strength and ability to navigate stairs with produce boxes.
  • Detailoriented and capable of maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the team and report inventory levels.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for commuting to the mushroom farm in Longueuil.
