Evo Tunes Inc. and its affiliated divisions have been in the auto industry for over a decade.We have had extreme growth this year and are continuing to grow quickly, so we are looking at expanding our team with an experienced Warehouse Manager to run the warehouse team and keep things flowing smoothly.
About the Opportunity
The Warehouse Manager oversees all shipping, receiving, logistics, product fulfillment and support, and ensures health and safety procedures are being followed.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate effective management planning, organizing, communicating, directing, controlling, and innovating skills
- Manage warehouse and production staff and oversee daily operations
- Works with inventory and purchaser
- Conducts meetings; organizes daily assignments/workload to associates and assigns duties accordingly. Establishes or adjusts work assignments to meet daily production schedules.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept orderly and safe.
- Works with Health and Safety committee to ensure we are compliant
- Help to create and train staff in the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOP's). Implements and ensures they are followed and verifies the accuracy and completeness of all records/documentation activities within the workgroup.
- Backup support for Shipping and Receiving
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift, scissor lift, shrink wrapping machine, cardboard bailer, etc. as required
- Ensures that the product received is recorded correctly, log maintenance records and inspections for industrial power equipment are up to date
- Assists when needed physical inventory counts
- Manage other department requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
- Manage warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), create reports, and assist in managing warehouse departmental budget
- Ensure customer needs are met daily
- Create reports and EVMSEVMSrelated metrics development and tracking
Skills Needed:
- 57 years of management and leadership experience in Warehousing/Distribution Center management or a similar role
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Extensive knowledge of department processes
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift and scissor lift operating licenses
- Ability to use a shrinkwrapping machine and cardboard bailer, and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent at building procedures and ability to train, coach, and mentor staff
- Ability to manage budgets and prepare reports
- Operates at a high level of integrity
- Strong ability to manage time, make decisions, problem solve, organize and prioritize multiple assignments and direct the workforce in a growing and everchanging warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
