We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our Engineering team in Toronto . Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as Mechanical Engineer.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems from concept to production, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Perform engineering analysis using computational tools and methodologies to evaluate mechanical designs, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics simulation
  • Prototyping and Testing: Coordinate prototype fabrication and testing activities, analyzing test results and iteratively refining designs to achieve performance goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product designers to integrate mechanical systems into overall product architecture
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in mechanical designs through value engineering and design optimization techniques

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in a product development environment
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of engineering principles
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and simulation tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials selection
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
