Box Bus seeks workers interested in swamper/furniture mover positions in the GVA.

This position can also lead to warehouse work for interested applicants.


Our network of delivery trucks and moving vans in the GVA requires workers to lift and carry the cargo at pick-up and drop.

Work is available 7 days a week, but you can work anywhere from 1 to 6 days per week, you decide.


  • Wages are $18$20/hour, paid full gross, with no deductions.
  • Those with work permits and/or student visas are welcome.
  • A fun and supportive culture centred around high performance.
  • Work when you want. From 1 to 6 days per week. We have work every day.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day.
  • Must have or get Personal Optional Protection from WorkSafeBC (We can show you how.)
  • Safety Vest and Hard-Toed shoes/boots.
  • Have a smartphone with a data plan.
  • Are able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

  • A strong back and the ability to lift heavy furniture.
  • A strong customer service background.
  • An outgoing, friendly, cooperative personality.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A sense of comradery and team ownership.
