About the Role:


As Cleanroom Assembler, the individual is responsible for assembling and packaging medical devices while maintaining the cleanliness of the cleanroom.

This person requires tolerance of repetitive motion and aptitude for high precision work. Nipro Canada Corporation and its proximity are strictly smoking and vaping free. A fragrance-free policy is in force.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Assemble various medical device product on a work order with a tubing cutter, expander, thermosealer and chemical adhesives
  • Exercise maximum attention to details with each assembly to avoid impact on the overall work flow, quality compliance, and potential injury at the workplace
  • Assist in developing new production method and efficiency study on the assembly procedure
  • Work with engineers in conducting experiments
  • Support/Follow the company's Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Operate under Quality Management System under the ISO13485 standard
  • Log job in and out of the ERP system

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing or assembly environment is highly preferred
  • Must be mature, respectful and cooperative in a group setting
  • Ability to perform high precision work, while maintaining stringent cleanliness requirements
  • Proven skills to work effectively and cooperatively in teamwork as well as individually
  • Proven ability to comprehend and interpret product schematics, specifications, procedures and work instructions.
  • Fluent English reading and writing skills
  • Must be detailorientated and punctual
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Must have a good eye vision to detect any product nonconformance
  • Must be agile in upper body joints
