Working Arrangement
Hybrid

Key Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the development of project scope, risk, impacts and quality criteria
  • Develop and/or review project requirement documents (i.e. Business Requirements, Test Strategy, Functional Specification)
  • Provide analysis of product additions and enhancement projects for system changes impacting accounting
  • Develop test strategies and support development of test plans for function and user acceptance testing
  • Understands risks and issue logging, along with proposed mitigating solutions
  • Build strong relationships with project partners and deal with crisis resolution
  • Identify and execute on process improvements through process mapping and redesign
  • Prepare recommendations and implement mechanisms to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of business and finance processes and controls
  • For Finance initiatives, develop detailed project plans, maintain information on progress, milestones and deliverables, communicate project status to key partners
  • Manage finance needs by prioritizing and delivering on admin system enhancements

What we are looking for

  • Business analyst experience with 13 years of progressive experience supporting small to mediumsized projects
  • Knowledgeable about financial services and insurance related products
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required to liaise with colleagues and develop relationships across the organization to resolve project issues
  • Ability to exercise flexibility and judgment in assessing business issues and associated risks while staying focused on project deliverables
  • Determined and motivated to work independently to produce quality results on time
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts/processes
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflicts with project team members and flexible when faced with challenges and change
  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile project methodology

Additional Asset:

  • Business Analyst or Project Management Professional certification
  • Product Owner certification

$55,125.00 CAD - $91,875.00 CAD
