RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises scheduling and daily assignment of duties for all staff.
- Makes changes in staffing as required to accommodate the patient volume.
- Supervises the workflow within the clinic, including patient screening and assessment.
- Answering phone calls from patients, physicians, and other health care providers.
- Performs billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and efficient reconciling.
- Proficient in referrals/supervises the referral clerk, ensuring continuity of patient care.
- Collaborates with the staff members to facilitate the provision of patient care.
- Knows each staff's position and areas of responsibility intrinsically.
- Able to step in as required for each staff's position.
- Maintains smooth ongoing communication with the physicians and staff.
- Interviews applicants and makes recommendations concerning vacant staff positions.
- Trains staff on clinic systems and procedures.
- Reviews and approves leave requests for all staff, and reviews and signs time cards.

- Identifies areas of improvement to the staff and clinic operation.
- Liaises with the physicians and assists the clinic partners.
- Oversee clinic inventory and supply ordering.
- Ensures patient privacy protocols are adhered to daily.
- Attend to other tasks assigned by the partnerdoctors.
SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years experience in healthcare administrative or relevant field.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records is required; knowledge of Med Access is an asset.
Excellent critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
Submission of Billing to the medical services branch, WCB, and a review of reconciling returns.
Ability to multi-task & set priorities
Effective decision-making & problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills, positively influence and lead the team.
Salary:
