CHALLENGES AWAITING YOU

The Technician is responsible for timely and effective resolutions to end-user productivity issues as they relate to IT-serviced computer operations.

This will be accomplished by performing question/problem diagnoses, guiding users through to issue resolution, communicating technical solutions in user-friendly language, and conducting end-user training where necessary.

This person will assist the Systems Administrator in the testing, evaluation and implementation of devices. The Technician is also responsible for recording problems/solutions within the help desk call-tracking system.

PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION, MOSTLY ON-SITE POSITION IN HAWKESBURY, ON

Criminal Check

As a pre-condition of employment:

  • All new HGH employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Police Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.
  • As of now, HGH will require all employees, physicians, learners, contractors and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID19.

What we are looking for
Education and experience

  • College diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience performing duties related to office support in an IT setting
  • Ability to work in both official languages (English and French)
  • Ability to work efficiently with other members of the team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with endusers and colleagues
  • Ability to prioritize duties, handle large workloads and work under pressure
