Position Summary: This course aims to introduce students to fundamental computer and digital media concepts, covering hardware, software, and networking. It includes a study of commonly used applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and web development software. Students will also learn how to manage digital media files effectively across various platforms to build and maintain a professional portfolio.

Qualifications – Required Degree: Undergraduate Degree or Diploma

Qualifications - Other:

  • Diploma in Design, Graphic Design, or Commercial Design preferred
  • Two or more years of teaching experience at the college or university level
  • Teaching experience in computer applications in a Mac Lab
  • Proficiency in teaching Microsoft Office products and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with MyLearningSpace or similar online learning applications
  • Knowledge in Macintosh troubleshooting and maintenance is an asset
