Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking a qualified part-time Educational Assistant 2, for a work assignment at our Guthrie School.

FTE: 0.3 FTE; 9.75 hrs/week; Part-Time Permanent

Initial Assignment:
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate; experience working with Autistic children is an asset; CPR and First Aid are desirable.

Preference given to applicants with experience and training with Autism, Behaviors and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

Hourly Rate:
$ $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
