Zymeworks is proudly headquartered in our brand new, net-zero facility located in the vibrant Main St biotech hub of Vancouver, BC, with operations in Seattle, WA, San Francisco, CA, Dublin, Ireland and Singapore.

We offer a hybrid work environment with most team members working in-office 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and post all open requisitions in SuccessFactors, ensuring requisitions adhere to company policies and content
  • Coordinate external job postings on industry, academic and professional job boards
  • Ensures accurate information is entered into SuccessFactors and submits JIRA tickets as needed to maintain accuracy
  • Provides support, as needed, for career fairs and recruitment events.
  • Assists in the management and use of external HR sources for recruitment purposes.
  • Ensures purchase orders and purchase requisitions are raised in Ariba for all recruiting purchasing
  • Assists with initiatives and projects as requested
  • Provides backup to the other team members as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of inhouse experience in a Recruitment or HR coordinator role
  • Postsecondary education in HR is a plus
  • A combination of external agency recruiting, plus inhouse and education will be considered
  • Prior experience, or a strong personal preference, to work in a highchange, entrepreneurial company (tech, biotech) will align with this role and our culture
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors strongly preferred, experience with large ATS system required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information and communicates tactfully during times of high intensity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • High Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
