Valleyview Co-op is hiring a Full-Time PRODUCE CLERK at our MELITA FOOD STORE in MELITA, MB.

Under the direction of the Produce Manager, a Produce Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members as well ensuring merchandising and image standards for the department are maintained to deliver solutions that matter most to the customer. Key responsibilities are but not limited to;

• Stock display areas and keep stock clean and in order.
• Provide good customer service. Assist customer with their product inquiries, ensuring they are the priority.
• Performing quality control checks and product rotation, communicate with the Manager when product is low or runs out.
• Responsible for regular preventative maintenance of equipment used in the course of work. This includes completing department inspections or checklists as required, reporting safety issues to Manager

This position falls under Collective Bargaining Agreement with UFCW 832. Wage Range: $15.55 to $19.60
