Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times
  • Plan and lead ageappropriate activities, games, and crafts
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment for campers
  • Assist with meal times and ensure campers are following proper hygiene practices
  • Provide guidance and support to campers in their social interactions
  • Collaborate with other camp staff to coordinate daily schedules and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and behavior

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp or educational setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages and backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a background check

Skills:

  • Early childhood education
  • Experience working with children
  • Tutoring or teaching experience
  • Ability to educate and engage children in fun and interactive activities

Salary:
$16.55-$17.84 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
