Full-Time Principal for K-8 School
Commencing September 2023

  • The requirements are:
  • Practicing Catholic with references from a current or recent pastor
  • Demonstrated commitment to the aims and goals of Catholic education
  • Completion of Catholic faith formation program(s) or commitment to complete the MCS approved program
  • Completion of Indigenous/Truth and Reconciliation education program(s)
  • Recent leadership experience within education, with a minimum of two years fulltime administrative experience preferred
  • A Manitoba Certificate in School Leadership (Postbaccalaureate or Masters in Education degree with a specialization in educational administration, or a commitment to completing same within 5 years preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
  • A valid Manitoba Permanent Professional Certificate
  • An effective communicator with strong language, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding educator dedicated to student achievement and personal growth
  • Committed to innovative educational practices and childcentred initiatives
  • Ability to create a budget, manage payroll, and administer the benefit and pension plans
  • Knowledge of and ability to file necessary government reports
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record (including vulnerable sector) and Child Abuse Registry checks to be submitted prior to commencement of employment
