Your responsibilities:

  • Install equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs.
  • Uphold facilities to the highest standards; quality is paramount.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for appliance repairs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of parts and items used in repairs and replacements.
  • Efficiently resolve issues within units, including electrical, gas, laundry, kitchen appliances (stoves, microwaves, fridges, etc.).
  • Manage unit upkeep with strong familiarity of assigned locations.
  • Communicate promptly with Property Managers.
  • Support the Design team in property setup tasks.

Your experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in household repairs, including appliances, plumbing, and mechanical tasks, using a variety of tools (carpentry background with skills in woodworking and construction a plus).
  • Capable of following precise instructions and process steps to maintain highquality work.
  • Skilled in multitasking and adapting to dynamic environments.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to nontechnical individuals.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances as needed.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ownership of personal tools is a plus.
  • Your attention to detail is exceptional.
  • Your commitment to outstanding service mirrors our values.
  • You excel at managing multiple demands at once.
  • Your proactive approach and problemsolving skills are outstanding.
  • Your proven experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role; or completion of technical courses or apprenticeship program is a plus.

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
