Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team. As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems. Your expertise in industrial maintenance and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Duties:

– Design, develop, and implement PLC programs to control industrial machinery and equipment

– Troubleshoot and debug PLC systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions

– Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate PLC systems into existing manufacturing processes

– Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of PLC systems to ensure optimal performance

– Fabricate custom electrical panels and wiring harnesses as needed

– Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel regarding PLC operation and troubleshooting

– Stay updated on the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary

Skills:

– Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and electrical systems

– Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems – Allen Bradley

– Mechanical knowledge to understand the integration of PLCs with mechanical equipment such as CNC machines

– Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and technical manuals

– Experience with low voltage control circuits

– Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly detect and resolve issues with PLC systems

– Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate programming and system functionality

– Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions and support to production personnel

– Customer service mindset to address any concerns or questions related to PLC operation
