Naval Communicator - Full Time/Part time - Canadian Armed Forces

  • Full time_ Naval Communicators operate all Network, satellite communications, and Long Range Radio systems onboard ship. They know encoding, decoding, morse code, flashing light signals, flag signals in order to communicate between fleet elements and across the planet.
  • Part time_ Naval Communicators learn and practice the skills used when at sea, along with local radio procedures for small boat flotilla maneuvers.
Must be a _Permanent Resident_ or _Canadian Citizen_
The minimum required education to join is Grade 11 Highschool English and Math.
No experience Required, you start as an apprentice and work your way up. Every year that goes by and every promotion is a pay raise.

Starting Wage: 124.40$/day

This is a military position and will require that you go through basic training.
Full time Basic Training: 10 weeks
Part time Basic Training: 3 Weeks in Vancouver, followed by 3 weeks in Quebec.

Following basic Training we send you to Trades school in Victoria or Halifax for a semester.
