Journeyperson CNC Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAM software to program lathes, milling machines, and multi-tasking machining centers.

• Develop setup sheets, SOPs, and work instructions for CNC operators.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to design work-holding fixtures.

• Ensure parts meet specifications and dimensions within tolerances.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Journeyperson Machinist trade certificate or equivalent international accreditation.

• 10+ years of CNC programming experience.

• Minimum 3 years' experience with GibbsCAM software.

• Proficiency in Fanuc type macro variables and conditional macro logic.

• Extensive experience with alloy and carbon steel parts machining.

• Previous experience with in-process inspection and tool life management.


• Reliable transportation and availability for 10-hour shifts.
