Job Summary:

As a pivotal team member, you will engage in diverse control system projects. Your role will involve leading multiple project tasks and large projects, providing engineering support, and overseeing project teams. You will collaborate with project leads, supervisors, and company management, taking ultimate responsibility for project success.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields, coupled with significant technical expertise.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience, including 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer I or equivalent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and mentor colleagues during system start-up and commissioning.
  • Expert in interpreting piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
  • Skilled in creating and modifying Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.
  • Thorough understanding of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Proficient in complex control system design and instrumentation specifications.
  • Capable of value engineering solutions for optimal cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead IT system design, network infrastructure, and computer system designs related to control system integration.

Customer Service:

  • Engage effectively and proactively with customers, ensuring adherence to site standards.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer care, addressing and solving customer issues promptly.
  • Demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and responsiveness in customer interactions.
  • Follow up diligently and fulfill commitments to customers.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks accurately, on time, and within budget constraints.
  • Lead and oversee individual project tasks and mid-sized projects from start to finish.
  • Assume full responsibility for project completion, maintaining schedules and budgets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on assigned projects.
  • Identify project scope changes and offer support on other projects as needed.
  • Manage task delegation efficiently, ensuring team adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Anticipate and meet customer requirements, estimating task durations accurately.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee team training, development, compensation, and performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and resolve team conflicts effectively.
  • Ensure optimal team performance, task assignments, and retention.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Establish trustworthiness and demonstrate active listening.
  • Understand and fulfill the needs of others, emphasizing project perspectives.
  • Commit to enhancing managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Possibility of up to 50% overnight travel.

On Call:

  • Participate in on-call rotations based on location and client demands.

Work Authorization/Other Requirements:

  • Hold valid work authorization in the job location country.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain 'Fit for Duty' status.
