As a Project Coordinator, You Will:

  • Coordinate subcontractor and suppliers
  • Track project costs and productions
  • Assist foreman and superintendents in their daily tasks
  • Assist in project planning and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Working towards a Civil Engineering Technician/Technologist Diploma or Construction Technician/Management Diploma.
  • Knowledge of MTO specifications and practices including the understanding of OPSS, OPSD & MTOD, MTO contract experience is an asset
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wideranging climates and environments
  • Possess superb mathematical and computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project Sidetrack and Bid2Win, or equivalent programs)
  • Knowledge of construction, with ability to read plans and specifications
  • Great work ethic
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills/time management skills
  • Valid G License with access to a vehicle
  • Good understanding of budgets, costing and time tracking.
  • Willing to work flexible hours determined by demanding construction schedules, including nights and/or weekends
  • Ability to travel and extended stays from home
