About of the Position:


You have outside sales experience and enjoy working directly with architects, developers, general contractors & engineers within the commercial and multi-unit residential sectors.

You rapidly build trust with your customers and provide solutions to meet their needs. You focus on new and existing customers to drive business and increase revenue. You thrive in long, technical, relationship-based sales cycles, and love working in a fast-paced environment. You are a confident, outgoing, and personable individual who is self driven.

You enjoy collaborating with a team of salespeople, managers and support staff to provide information, technical details, and to pursue & process sales, while offering support and value to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Perform routine inspections of incoming materials, components and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards.
  • Check production lines to ensure standards are adhering to product specifications during manufacturing.
  • Determine the cause of a defect.
  • Perform various testing on random finished product samples.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and respond to Quality Engineering inquiries.
  • Guide the employees on any improvements and corrective actions that can be carried out for effective implementation of the system.
  • Educate line associates about quality standards, control measures and resolution processes.

Quality Control

Documentation

  • Record and analyze defects, evaluate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct audits and ensure procedures and processes needed to sustain quality objectives are established and implemented.
  • Maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of products, quality standards and issue resolution processes.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of Quality Control experience.
  • Prior working knowledge of windows and doors considered an asset.
  • ISO 9001 quality standard knowledge considered an asset.
  • Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment and interpret metric/imperial systems.
  • Solution focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands robust deliverables.
  • Ability to multitask, organize your time and meet multiple deadlines.
  • The ability to identify problems and execute appropriate solutions.
  • A selfstarter, motivated and perform well in highpressure environments.
  • Strong work ethic, action oriented and desire to achieve excellence.
