Barrhead and District Social Housing Association provides safe, affordable, quality housing for the well-being and independence of residents and tenants.

We are currently recruiting for students for kitchen shifts. Shifts would be from 4pm - 8:15pm with the possibility of longer shifts during the summer months and weekends.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with meals for residents
  • Prepping food for the cook
  • Stocking, cleaning and sanitizing drink and snack station
  • Prepping and serving food for events
  • Setting up dining room and buffet
  • Cleaning and sanitizing dining room

Qualifications:

  • Must enjoy working with seniors
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience handling food considered an asset

MUST Have Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check

  • Barrhead and District Social Housing Association operates licensed supportive living facilities. All mandates implemented by Alberta Health are applicable and employees must adhere to them.
    During outbreaks employees are required to wear masks and eye protection.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary:
From $15.75 per hour
