Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified Supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

We are currently hiring
Class 5 Delivery Drivers to join our Transportation team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of products, using a oneton vehicle, over established routes and to new construction sites.
  • Correct loading and unloading of vehicles,
  • Recording of delivery information,
  • Completing pretrip and posttrip inspections ensuring overall vehicle safety,
  • Operating the delivery vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road, and following all company policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous driving and forklift/ Moffat experience preferred,
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract are required,
  • Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a definite asset,
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift repetitively,
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment,
  • Strong time management and organizational skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.
