Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, gathering, and consolidating data by working with supply chain and other cross functional teams and improves the efficiency of supply chain and operations through analytical data insights and problem-solving.
Snapshot of Responsibilities:
The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the process and exceptional analytics skills.
- Support department leadership through data analysis and recommendations to develop business case for projects or strategies
- Use data to illustrate information in various mediums (Excel, Power BI, Power Point etc.) that aid in the development of key strategic initiatives and generate clear insights
- Gather requirements from the teams and develop supply chain metrics to identify rootcause and measure performance
- Use data and conduct adhoc business analysis that drive process improvement, cost savings, or influence strategic decisions
- Build interactive BI analytics reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel etc.
- Use analytical tools to build logical and advanced analytical models to drive day to day operations in supply chain
- Prepare and publish monthly inventory, supplier scorecard reports etc.
- Manage and maintain ETL between ERP and database
- Perform adhoc analytical tasks as required by the business
- Act as liaison between the Supply Chain and crossfunctional teams to make data driven decisions
- Other duties as required by the business
What you bring to the team:
Required Skills/ Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business or related field of Engineering or Science
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain or data analytics
- Experience in working with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP or databases would be an asset
Key Competencies:
- Good analytical skills with attention to detail in pointing trends, areas of improvement, and recommendations out of various data sources
- A talent for managing competing and multiple shifting priorities with a mindset of "getting things done" attitude
- Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills with an ability to understand key business and planning concepts
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
Additional Assets:
- Python knowledge would be an asset
- Training or certification in Supply Chain field is preferred
