Responsibilities
* Create solid models, layouts and associative assembly and detail drawings to industry, company, and military standards
* Design mobile defense subsystems with minimal supervision
* Utilize NX CAD software
* Perform design calculations and trade-off studies as required
* Incorporate engineering change requests into existing Technical Data Package
* Perform dynamic motion and interference analyses
* Support Bid and Proposal activities
* May be required to assist in the development of departmental processes, standards, and related documentation
* May be required to provide system-level CAD model/product structure support and administer working files for multiple design teams
* May be required to develop standard parts and integrate these parts into the Teamcenter Classification database

Requirements
* University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience with NX CAD software in modeling, drafting and advanced assemblies
* Experience with typical defense and/or mobile equipment standards (e.g. MIL-Specs, ASME standards, SAE standards, FMVSS, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of the application and interpretation of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) from piece parts to complex assemblies
* Strong MS Office skills
* Ability to travel (5% Canada) and (5% US & International)
* Possess or be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
* Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Requirements for confined space

Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years mechanical design utilizing CAD tools in a related industry
* Knowledge of military drawing practices including MIL-STD-100 and related ASME Y14 series standards
* Knowledge of Teamcenter Product Data Management application
* OACETT certified Mechanical Technologist or Technician (CET) with specialty in mobile equipment

Responsabilités
* Créer des modèles solides, des mises en page et des dessins d'assemblage et de détail associatifs conformes aux normes de l'industrie, de l'entreprise et de l'armée.
* Concevoir des sous-systèmes de défense mobile avec une supervision minimale
* Utiliser le logiciel de CAD NX
* Effectuer des calculs de conception et des études de compromis selon les besoins
* Incorporer les demandes de modifications techniques dans le dossier de données techniques existant
* Effectuer des analyses dynamiques de mouvements et d'interférences
* Soutenir les activités d'appel d'offres et de propositions
* Peut contribuer à l'élaboration de processus, de normes et de documents connexes au sein du département.
* Peut fournir un support de modèle CAO/structure de produit au niveau du système et à administrer des fichiers de travail pour plusieurs équipes de conception.
* Peut développer des pièces standards et à intégrer ces pièces dans la base de données de classification Teamcenter

Exigences
* Diplôme universitaire ou diplôme d'études collégiales dans le domaine électrique ou mécanique
* Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience avec le logiciel NX CAD en modélisation, dessin et assemblages avancés
* Expérience avec les normes typiques de défense et/ou d'équipement mobile (par exemple, MIL-Specs, normes ASME, normes SAE, FMVSS, etc.)
* Solide connaissance de l'application et de l'interprétation du dimensionnement et du tolérancement géométriques (GD&T), des pièces détachées aux assemblages complexes.
* Solides compétences en MS Office
* Capacité à voyager (5% Canada) et (5% États-Unis et international)
* Posséder ou être en mesure d'acquérir et de conserver un passeport valide
* Doit être en mesure de répondre aux exigences anthropométriques en matière de taille pour les espaces confinés

Qualifications préférées
* Minimum 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en conception mécanique utilisant des outils de CAO dans un secteur connexe
* Connaissance des pratiques de dessin militaires, notamment MIL-STD-100 et les normes associées de la série ASME Y14.
* Connaissance de l'application Teamcenter Product Data Management
