Total Hours of Work per Term:55 hours

Position Summary:
Correcting weekly assignments and term papers. Assisting with small group discussions. Opportunity to lecture (not required). Evaluation of student presentations. Invigilating and marking of exams (if in person exams are possible). Reviewing exams with students, as needed. Management of myCourses website for the course, including uploading lecture slides, presentation topics, and assignment/exam marks.

Qualifications:


A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student at the Master's or Doctoral level, at McGill University, employed to assist a course Supervisor.

Graduate student who has successfully passed PHAR 563 or has expertise in endocrinology. Must have sufficient command of English to be able to help international students. Very good communication skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of myCourses is a requirement.
