What the role entails

  • Act as the primary contact point for the program with physicians
  • Educate physicians and their staff on program services
  • Offer therapy guidelines to manage physician expectations regarding reimbursement
  • Review patient charts to complete necessary paperwork for coverage
  • Assist MDs in filling out forms such as Special Authorization (SA), enrollment forms, and prescription renewals
  • Provide regular updates to physicians on their patients
  • Customize program elements to suit assigned physicians' needs; adjust based on in-clinic and remote MD requirements
  • Identify potential risks and promote proactive quality enhancement
  • Collaborate with team members in various roles to coordinate the patient journey
  • Attend scheduled physician meetings with sales representatives
  • Participate in Continuous Medical Education events and report new activities
  • Travel regularly to different physician offices
  • Report Adverse Events
  • Undertake assigned adhoc duties

Desired qualifications

  • Registered nurse (RN)
  • Related degree or equivalent transferable skills considered (pharmacists, science degrees)
  • Experience in public or private third-party reimbursement arena, pharmaceutical sales, managed care, or clinical support is advantageous
  • Bilingualism is beneficial (mandatory for Quebec)
  • Prior Case Manager experience is a plus
  • Basic CCPE knowledge is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional time management skills and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Capability to work autonomously in a remote environment
  • Strong communication skills in both English and French (oral and written) for Quebec and New Brunswick Provinces
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven
  • Adaptability to change and ambiguity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
  • Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license, and own a vehicle
  • Ability to attend Continuous Healthcare Education (CHE) events outside regular business hours
  • Adherence to Performance Standards and Procedures specified by the program
  • Must have a dedicated home office space for Innomar Strategies equipment

The successful candidate will interact with English-speaking individuals on a daily basis, including customers, patients, or colleagues from various teams.
