Job Description:
The Technical Software Architect at Sapiens plays a crucial role in providing expertise and support for Technology and Architecture governance in software development. They lead design efforts for product enhancements and address complex architectural issues related to insurance solutions. This role involves collaborating with geographically distributed teams, recommending technologies, and implementing software solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT professionals to design and implement insurance applications
- Provide oversight for software-related issues
- Develop architectural solutions to software problems
- Identify development patterns and approaches
- Conduct research on software and prototypes
- Present technical material to clients
- Mentor junior software development personnel
- Make architectural recommendations to management
- Complete activities as directed by the Chief Architect

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS
- 4+ years of experience in Architecture and Development
- Strong knowledge of Java technologies and frameworks
- Experience with SOA and Web Services
- Hands-on experience with application servers and web servers
- Familiarity with database design and SQL
- Knowledge of SDLC and development methodologies
- Experience with client presentations and technical writing

Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Insurance Domain experience
- 8+ years of Architecture and Development experience
- Proven ability in rapid prototyping and complex software architecture

Pluses:
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Skills in documenting software architectures using UML

Physical Requirements:
- Clear oral and written communication
- Ability to use keyboards and view screens effectively
- Capable of sitting for long periods, standing, walking, and lifting
