You as a Project Coordinator, Design Build will:

  • Provide support to the Project Manager in pursuing Alternative Delivery projects and Preconstruction services
  • Manage the flow of multiple proposals from beginning to end for the RFP and RFQ process.
  • Coordinate drawings, narratives, and visual presentations for the design presentation meetings
  • Direct and control proposal activities under the direction of Project Managers and the Director of Design Build
  • Analyze the bid requirements and compliance against the proposal outline
  • Oversee proposal activities, including directing proposal personnel, managing proposal schedules and deadlines, developing proposal outline and compliance matrix, and monitoring the progress of the proposal
  • Liaise directly with the design team, the consultant team, the trade contractors, and other members of the project team regularly.
  • Assist in the process of obtaining the required security designation for new projects

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have two years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • You have a Constructionrelated degree/Diploma.
  • You have a working knowledge of design coordination amongst multiple disciplines, including typical standards, practices, and procedures.
  • You can conceptualize drawings and identify potential construction conflicts.
  • You have technical knowledge of Electrical, Communications, Mechanical, Architectural, and Power Supply and Distribution System design is an asset.
